Will it be another Backbooth? My guess is no, but something from a Jason/Tommy acoustic show. I do hope that they slowly complete the Backbooth release down the road though.

OOOHHH that would be good. I've covered that one a few times and without fail had people ask who it was from. Every time I tell them who the original artist is, but go on to say 7M3 does it better LOL. ------------------ My Band - http://wwww.myspace.com/sacredgroovemusic Me - www.myspace.com/achillacoustic | Facebook

Ha ha! Okay, I will play along a sign the petition, but just start a thread and not inundate Steve's inbox. He is a good guy and doesn't need all the messages!

Yeah...I wouldn't flood Steve's email, but I think that it would help the guys in choosing which song to pick if they were to have fan input. My vote is for Bad Reputation

Okay... just to clarify. The write-in campaign was more a joke than a serious call to flood Steve's email. Please don't do that. But I agree with Erika, I think fan feedback / desire would be a great thing to have in trying to select a song from their collection. None of us really know what all they have! ------------------ There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't. Lights Out Photography

No need to email me. Just start a thread with your ideas and what you want. We have a ton of great material, some of it you know about and may have, and some stuff you wouldn't know to ask for. We'll take your requests into consideration. We also have plans to release some rarities commercially. Glad to hear everyone is enjoying 7MP3. Steve

Thanks for the input Steve! Anything locked in the vault from the 10th Anniversary show? I love John's recording from the show, but if the band has another version of "Over Your Shoulder" with Steven Foxbury, I would love to hear it! ...or anything from that weekend!

Actually the more I think about it, perhaps I would rather they put up a cover song. I know sometimes the legal issues can prevent them from making a profit off a cover song so perhaps it would be easier to do it for free and save the other stuff for a B-Side CD. I'd rather see the band get some money for their own material. I really think this band is truly awesome (as many of you do) and I don't care if it's the ? song from Backbooth, Bright Light, Goldfish, The Couple or whatever... It's strange to say about a band that's been around for ten years but I think one song will hit the radio and people will love them as much as we do. Save the original stuff for the records to release out to win people over. Sorry for the long winded post, just got a 7M3 recharge recently and when I mentioned them the other night people were like "Oh... I know them. They did Cumbersome" and I was trying to tell them that wasn't even the tip of the iceburg.

On this note, has anybody ever met a person who likes Nickelback? They are on the radio ALL THE TIME, yet everybody that I know hates them. What is up with that? Who are these fans? Agreed, the host of Accoustic Cafe (syndicated) really likes 7m3 and has even listened to some of the bootleg acoustic shows. I have emailed him about it before. I wish the guys would get in contact with him and try to do an interview or something. My vote for May's mp3 is Lullaby (with harmonica, but a cleaner version than Music for Our Mother Ocean version if one exists) or Bad Reputation.
